Thailand Retirement Visa

Consular fee $200. This visa is valid for 1 year and allows for multiple entries. Processing time is 3 – 4 weeks.

Service fee $300

Applicant must provide the following:

1 - Scanned color copy of your passport’s information page in JPEG format. Make sure the passport does not expire within 18 months prior to entry to Thailand.

2 - Scanned color copy of your U.S. driver’s license in JPEG format.

3 - Digital Photo. Please take this photo against a plain white background using a modern camera-phone device according to the instructions listed below under “How to take a good passport photo.”

4 - Visa Application. Please fill out the intake form below:

5 - Medical Certificate. Please click on link below:

6 - Evidence of Funds. Original bank statement and proof of income showing at least a $2,500 monthly income from a pension or social security. OR, provide a bank statement showing an ending balance of no less than $30,000.

7 - Criminal Background Report. Must be issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and show no criminal record.

8 - Health Insurance. Must purchase a one year policy covering COVID-19 disease with the total sum insured of no less than 3,000,000 THB or $100,000 per policy year.

9 - Flight Itinerary. This is a document issued by the airline or travel website (like Expedia) that shows your arrival to Thailand. Visa Supply has access to flights through our computerized network system – just let us know if you need help with a reservation. We charge a $100 service fee to book an airline ticket.

DO NOT PURCHASE HEALTH INSURANCE OR AN AIRLINE TICKET UNTIL CONSULTING WITH A VISA SUPPLY REPRESENTATIVE FIRST.   We will guide you through the steps required to apply for the Thai Retirement Visa.

How to take a good passport photo:

- Get a friend to take your photo.

- Make sure the lens is clean on your device.

- Use a plain background, white, light gray, or off-white.

- Don’t crop your photo – include your face, shoulders and upper body.

- Keep your hair away from your face and brushed down.

- Make sure there are no shadows on your face or behind you.
