Nepal Tourist Visa

This is a visa issued on arrival at the airport in Nepal.  The government fee is $30 for a 15 day stay, $50 for a 30 day stay, and $125 for a 90 day stay.  The government fee will be paid on arrival to the immigration authorities in Nepal.

Processing time is 2 – 3 days.

Applicant must provide the following:

1 - Scanned color copy of your passport’s information page in JPEG format. Make sure the passport does not expire within 6 months prior to entry to Nepal.

2 - Digital Photo. Please take this photo against a plain white background using a modern camera-phone device according to the instructions listed below under “How to take a good passport photo.”

3 - Visa Application. Please fill out the intake form below:

How to take a good passport photo:

- Get a friend to take your photo.

- Make sure the lens is clean on your device.

- Use a plain background, white, light gray, or off-white.

- Don’t crop your photo – include your face, shoulders and upper body.

- Keep your hair away from your face and brushed down.

- Make sure there are no shadows on your face or behind you.
