Korea Digital Nomad
This visa allows you to live temporarily in Korea as a digital nomad and will be valid for one year (the visa can be extended for an additional year at the immigration office in Korea).
Consular fee is $45 and our service fee is $350 (our fee includes return shipping by USPS Express Mail or FedEx).
Processing time is 4 weeks.
Applicant must provide the following:
1 – Passport. Submit the actual passport and make sure It has empty visa pages and will not expire within 6 months from the date of arrival to Korea.
2 – Driver’s License. Photocopy of driver’s license or state issued identification card (front and back, and in color). Must be notarized.
3 - Two color passport size photos. Must be taken within the last 6 months. Please visit Walgreens or CVS to make 2” x 2” photos.
4 – Criminal Background Report. Must be issued by the federal government within the past 90 days (by the Federal Bureau of Investigation) and show no criminal record. This document must be apostilled.
5 – Proof of Income. Applicant should provide pay stubs that show a monthly income of at least $5,500 per month from a source outside of Korea.
6 – Letter from Employer. This letter will be written on company letterhead and provide information about how long you have worked for the company, job salary, job title and role with the company. The letter should be signed by a senior executive of the company and acknowledge that you will work remotely from Korea. This letter should be notarized and apostilled.
7 – Bank Statement. Most recent bank statement showing deposits from employer.
8 – Health Insurance. Must be valid in Korea and cover at least 100 million won to pay for medical treatment and transportation to applicant’s home country (Visa Supply is a licensed health insurance agent and can help you select a plan).
